VERSIONME — TERMS OF USE Last updated: May 2026

  1. ACCEPTANCE By downloading or using VersionMe, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

  2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE VersionMe is a personal goal and mission tracking app. The app provides structured mission plans, progress tracking, and optional AI coaching features through Vex Pro.

  3. VEX PRO SUBSCRIPTION 3.1 Vex Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks AI coaching features including chat, weekly reports, and mission adjustment suggestions. 3.2 Pricing: Monthly: $4.99/month Yearly: $39.99/year Both plans include a 14-day free trial for new subscribers. 3.3 Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. 3.4 Manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. 3.5 No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods except as required by applicable law. 3.6 Users who previously purchased the one-time VersionMe in-app purchase retain equivalent Pro access permanently.

  4. AI FEATURES 4.1 Vex Pro uses the Claude API provided by Anthropic, PBC to generate personalized coaching responses. 4.2 When you use AI features, the following data is sent to Anthropic’s API:
    • Your first name
    • Goal title and area
    • Current level and streak
    • Weekly completion rate
    • Skill level
    • Average mission difficulty ratings No personally identifiable information beyond your first name is transmitted. No health metrics, location, or device data is shared. 4.3 Data sent to the API is processed per Anthropic’s Privacy Policy (anthropic.com/privacy). Anthropic does not use API data to train models by default. 4.4 AI-generated content is for motivational and organizational purposes only. It does not constitute medical, fitness, nutritional, or professional advice. 4.5 AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate. Always apply your own judgment.

  5. CUSTOM GOAL GENERATION 5.1 When you create a custom goal, the text you enter is sent to Anthropic’s API to generate a mission plan. 5.2 Do not enter sensitive personal information, medical conditions, or private data in custom goal descriptions.

  6. ICLOUD SYNC 6.1 If you are signed into iCloud on your device, VersionMe may sync your data across your devices using Apple’s CloudKit service. 6.2 Your data is stored in your private iCloud container and is not accessible to VersionMe or third parties.

  7. USER CONTENT 7.1 You are responsible for the goals, reflections, and content you create in the app. 7.2 Do not enter content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.

  8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY The VersionMe app, design, and content are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app without permission.

  9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of AI responses, or specific fitness results.

  10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

  11. CHANGES TO TERMS We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
