How do I restore my purchase? Go to Profile → Upgrade to Vex Pro → Restore Purchase. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used when you originally subscribed or purchased.
Is Vex Pro a subscription? Yes. Vex Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks AI coaching features: • Monthly: $4.99/month • Yearly: $39.99/year (save 33%) Both plans include a 14-day free trial. All core features — goals, missions, levels, and progress tracking — are completely free with no subscription required.
I previously paid $4.99 for VersionMe. Do I get Pro? Yes. If you purchased the original one-time $4.99 in-app purchase, you automatically receive Vex Pro access permanently at no additional charge. Tap Restore Purchase to activate it.
How do I cancel my subscription? Go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → VersionMe. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
My progress disappeared. What happened? Your data is stored on your device and synced to your private iCloud account if you are signed in to iCloud. Deleting and reinstalling the app may cause data loss if iCloud sync is not enabled. To protect your data: • Stay signed in to iCloud • Do not delete the app unnecessarily • Check Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → VersionMe is ON
Can I use VersionMe on multiple devices? Yes. VersionMe syncs your goals and progress across all your Apple devices using iCloud. Sign in with the same Apple ID on each device and your data will sync automatically.
What is Vex AI Coach? Vex is your personal AI coach, available with Vex Pro. Vex can: • Chat about your goals and give data-driven advice • Send you a weekly coaching report every Monday • Suggest better missions when one feels too hard or easy • Generate a monthly analysis of your progress Vex uses the Claude API by Anthropic to generate personalized responses based on your goal data.
How does mission generation work? When you add a goal, VersionMe creates a personalized mission plan based on your skill level, available time, and target duration. For custom goals you create yourself, AI generates a complete 5-level plan tailored to your input. Missions range from foundation to milestone across 10 days per level, with progressive difficulty throughout.
How do levels work? Each goal has 5 levels, each containing 10 unique missions. Complete missions to progress through levels. Each mission type has a purpose: Foundation → builds the habit Exploration → varies the approach Recovery → rest and reflect Building → increases difficulty Challenge → pushes your limits Milestone → achieves something new
Why did my mission change? If you rated a mission as too hard or too easy multiple times, Vex automatically suggested an adjusted version better suited to your current level. This is the Adaptive Mission feature working as intended.
Does the app access my health data? No. VersionMe does not access Apple Health, HealthKit, or any fitness tracker data. All progress is tracked manually through mission completions and check-ins.

Data sent to AI (Vex Pro only): When using Vex AI Coach, limited data is sent to Anthropic’s API to generate your coaching response: • Your first name • Goal title and current level • Streak and weekly completion rate • Skill level and difficulty ratings No health data, location, or device identifiers are shared.
When you create a custom goal: Your goal description text is sent to Anthropic’s API to generate your personalized mission plan. Do not include sensitive personal information in your goal descriptions.
